Square Enix is not planning to do NFT

As many already know, Square Enix is very interested in the blockchain and NFT, considering them the future. But, apparently, the NFT statement will not affect such large franchises as Final Fantasy and Dragon Quest. At least for now.

The head of Square Enix Yosk Matsuda said that it is still too early for thoughts about the translation of Final Fantasy and Dragon Quest to the blockchain-Osnov. It was also stated that most of the upcoming releases will also not receive the support of NFT and blockchain.

Square Enix is not the first to become interested in NFT. Before them, Ubisoft has already plunged into this space, which created the QUARTZ unit specifically for NFT, but was met with extremely negative reviews from fans. Sony, Xbox, Electronic Arts and Nintendo are also interested in NFT, but not one of these companies has yet taken any action to immerse in the blockchain.
