Rocket League brings popular function back

Liga de Rocket in Nintendo Switch, PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S and Xbox Series X brings back a popular characteristic. Psyonix and Epic Games have announced after previously eliminating it that the voice chat will return to the game and, of course, it has improved. This is great news for those who queue alone but still look for teamwork. And it is really great news for toxic players in the console that can now finally avoid aggressive filtering of the chat system.

According to Psyonix, Voice Chat is enabled by default, so if he has a microphone, other players will hear it unless he disables it manually or silence his microph1. It was added that players can see all the voice channels available from a new voice chat tab on the list of friends. From here, players have the option to join, change or leave the channels from the main menu or during the game from the pause menu.

Psyonix provides the following summary of the various options that players have at their disposal with this new incorporation:

• Party Chat: The perfect way to talk to friends! The players with the enabled voice chat will enter the group's voice channel when they believe or join a group. Players can communicate both inside and outside the games, since the connection persists between the games.
• Team Chat: For those who want to talk to your team! The players with the authorized voice chat will enter the team's voice channel when they join a team in a game. This connection will automatically end when the game ends and then start again when you join a new game.
• Voice output/output: These device options are available on the PC and allow players to change the audio sources easily, whether you use the transmitter microphone or controller headphones.
• Voice chat method: Open Mic is the default voice chat configuration so that players do not need to press unnecessary buttons when trying to communicate when they press those double reinstates. Players who prefer to use Push-to-Talk can enable it in the configuration menu. These players must link the PTT button to something that suits them from the controls tab.
• Silence: We also know that everyone uses the voice chat in different ways, so players can also silence people in their voice channel. This can be done by selecting their names on the voice chat tab and choosing to silence.

At the time of publication, this is not yet in the game and it will not be until May 9 when it will be added along with a new update, pending certification, of course. When the update is activated, we will update it with everything you need to know about it.
